A 'Throwback Thursday' poem: The Calico Cat

The Calico Cat

She sleeps in the sunlight,

Her warm coat shines soft;

Purring ever so loudly

Underneath her catio loft

“You’re home! You’re home!”

She excitedly spouts;

As I walk through the door

“Let me in!” she shouts

Now sitting on my chair

All curled up on my lap;

Is that calico cat

And for hours she sat

Ahh, an old pic of Page dressed up as "Harry Potter" on Samhain, circa 1998!

Page's mom, and my "twin soul sister", Judy cuddling their kitty cat Winnie ... (2011)

And here we are dressed up as (yup, you guessed it!) cats for a Samhain pic in 1996 ~ LOL!!
