Welcome to my morning!

It's Saturday morning and I am lying comfortably in my bed. While trying to sleep, I hear a moew-like mudder coming from the floor aside of the bed. Trying to ignore it, I turn over and again I make an attempt to go back to my slumber. Suddenly, up jumps my cat Midnight who graciously positions his paw on my head and gently pushes it to the left of my pillow as to expose my ear so that I can hear his cries a bit louder this time!

"I want my breakfast! I want my breakfast!," he shouts. So I finally get myself out of bed and wearily shuffle out into the kitchen in order to feed him and his sisters.

A couple of minutes later while I am sitting at the computer, that very same kitty has now positioned himself loyally at my feet (as per usual) as if to say to me, "Thanks mom, I knew you would take care of me!" And, of course, I always do. All this before 5:30AM. Did I mention it was a Saturday?

  1. This sounds so very familiar ; )
We have a tomcat that does the same. He can wake up the whole house ; )
Our other cats aren't that loud.
The youngest has a kitten meow, she sounds so sweet, so she can get away with almost anything ; )
    Have a great day.

    1. LOL! I'll just bet it does! We once a a little gray and white tabby named Maggie who also had the most sweetest little meow. She would also lightly tap your leg when she wanted a piece of what you were eating at the time. We called her the cutiest little beggar in the world! Gotta love 'em!

      Hugs,

  3. My cat howls. It goes right through you. It's so loud that they hear it outdoors. What a way to be woken up. She never really did that until she got older. She's 20 next month.

    1. Aww, that is so wonderful ~ 20 years old! I pray that our furr babies are as fortunate. My sister-in-law had a cat that started howling loudly after she began to really age. They think in her case it was a touch of being disoriented at times and sometimes not feeling secure about her surrounds, you know?

      Blessings, my friend!

  4. Midnight is a cutey! I love him! He can wake me up at anytime ;o) LOL! Sometimes, my mom and I baby sit my brother's cats. Well, we found out, if we don't feed them in the morning on time, they start to nibble your toes! I don't know how they got under the blankets? Smart cats! LOL! Big Hugs Kim ;o)
